Function
To loosely describe a being or thing, or entire groups of such, or to loosely describe a limited quantity or measure. Indefinivpronomen stand for nouns (+ article) or accompany a noun (+ article) as attribute. Example:
Er wollte unbedingt jemanden kennenlernen (= By all means, he wanted to become acquainted with someone.)
