Jantar Mantar is a unique compilation of astronomical instruments of the earlier times. This popular monument was built by the Maharaja Jai Singh II during the 18thy century. This prehistoric monument was built during the period of 1727 and 1734. The first Jantar Mantar was built by Jai Singh II in Delhi and the second one was modeled after the construction of this monument in Delhi.
